Rock Climbing Instruction
Climbing can be exhilarating, but as many new climbers will attest, it can also be very frustrating. Much of that early frustration is often caused by the popular new climber's misconception that climbing is all about strength. The reality, as any experienced climber will tell you, is that climbing is much more about technique and intelligence. Balance, weight distribution, economy of movement and judicious expenditure of muscle energy all must be applied if you ever hope to move above 5.10. Some aspects of rock climbing can be acquired quickly through trial and error, others come only with time and experience, but the majority of the solutions to early climbing frustrations are best learned from an experienced climber.
